Since I canā€™t make it to DuneCon this year, I just wanted to share a little story about why it means so much to me. $DEGEN was partly born at DuneCon ā€˜23 in Portugal. It was my first ever crypto conference, and I didnā€™t really know what to expect. At the after-party, I ended up chatting with @mats, the CTO of Dune, and without realizing it, heā€”and the Dune teamā€”gave me the push I needed to start something of my own. Hearing Mats share his early journey with Dune was just what I needed at the time. It wasnā€™t some huge moment, but it stuck with me and set me on the path that became $DEGEN. So, yeah, DuneCon has a special place in my heart. I canā€™t make it this year, but Iā€™ll definitely be there at a future event! https://zora.co/collect/base:0x98ffd635fb41c67769ebd25c1046da559bbb656d/24

I may have missed something, but I would be interested to know more about the birth of Degen as a culture, where it all started, what were the ideas, etc. I've been with Degen since March this year and I know it started a bit earlier.

Iā€™ll need the communityā€™s help with this one! Honestly, I feel like $DEGEN was more born from all of you than from me. Iā€™m just the dev who works here, but @wake.eth, @0xen, @yes2crypto.eth, @we, @macbudkowski, @billzh, @kenny, @limone.eth, @robrecht, @woj.eth, and so many others (wish I could name everyone) were there from the start. They can probably tell the story better than I can.
