It's a beautiful and rather surprising mathematical fact that one must delve deep into number theory in order to discover and make sense of. 😀

How might someone with little knowledge of number theory gain appreciation of its beauty?

In my experience, one of the best ways to gain appreciation for number theory is to simply be exposed to some of the striking and unusual patterns hidden within numbers -- many people I have shared these types of facts with have gone on to start coming up with their own 😁
