El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele announced the country’s bitcoin portfolio data on December 5, when bitcoin first broke through $100,000. The country’s bitcoin portfolio has accumulated investments of about $270 million, with unrealized gains exceeding $333 million. El Salvador currently holds 6,180 bitcoins, with an average purchase price of $44,739.88, and a return on investment of 122%.
