Ran my first race in about a year today for the a village track meet in Okinawa. 

1500m. Clocked in at 5:04.5.

Not a time to write home about, but very light competition so it was a race against myself.

Best thing was making some new friends with the local athletes.

I know!! 
   I have not been to Japan yet. She use to take a different family there every 3 years to visit family and see our heritage but she passed away a couple years ago so now I dont have my family guide anymore. 
   Someday I will get to visit there!
