Consensus rewards for solo stakers are now ~2.9% APR. It now takes 13 validators to achieve 1 ETH per month in consensus rewards from attestations. Not counting the execution rewards because block proposals are random, plus it seems that the MEV will get burnt in the future.

still feels worth it given how low maintenance it actually is

It is low maintenance, and it is also the best risk/yield ratio if you are going to be holding ETH regardless. But you have to believe that the underlying ETH will appreciate in price, or else there are better yields out there for the same amount of risk.

Even less amount of risk if ETH price stays flat as US Treasury yield is above 4% and backed by the reserve currency of the world

Why do you have to look in the mirror? For reference: Talking about T-Bills not Government bonds

i don’t think there’s much overlap between those debating on solo staking eth and those looking at t-bill-esque investments. even if the ultimate return ends up being similar/comparable.
