I really could write a paper about Samuel L. Jackson as Uncle Sam in Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl #HalfTimeShow, the connection with Spike Lee's Chi-Raq (2015), and the themes and symbolism of it all. There's a lot to investigate and unpack.
