It’s bait but tbh prestige is different from necessity/utility/value. Think being a startup founder is actually more “prestigious” than being a doctor in 2024 even if the former can be a lot more vaporware or grift

Whatever’s currently prestigious can basically just be determined by whatever kids from top colleges want to do at this point in time as they are largely status driven
