aren't they just converting usdc to fiat when you load your card? it's a great instant offramp but "keeping your assets onchain" feels misleading

i think my only qualm w "onchain" is that the word went from having a fairly specific and clear meaning to now meaning "generally relating to blockchains"

true - I do wonder if normal people think it sounds creepy tho. Chains don’t have great associations: captivity, gangs, s&m etc
