i think non-organic marketing is difficult for a social network where the product itself hasn't yet "cracked" what makes it retentive or found pmf. their strategy as i see it is, given that, it makes sense to focus on product (frames, algo/recs, and stability) to improve that then once pmf is found, that's when you invest in marketing and such to supercharge growth. but at current stage marketing should just be founder-led and user WOM

ok yeah i totally agree with this i think eventually there will be something built on top of fc that recruits a new wave of users (similar to degen)...fc primitives still massively unexplored imo actually, the fomo around clankers might have a chance...but you don't *have* to be on fc to gain the upside from my own interactions, it seems a lot of people formed opinions about fc from the degen farming era and have not updated priors. it will take something big to turn them around imo
