idt you can draw that conclusion from this chart - e.g. less people can buy homes while the median age of (relatively fewer number of) buyers stays the same

this is *first-time* home buying though, so it shows that there’s no generational difference in median home buying age between 1999 and 2016, which is significant IMO? ie the market is not relatively worse for a 30 year old in 1999 vs 2016? it can be bad for everyone for sure though but it’s interesting that it was felt so strongly by millennials
