ENS subnames are cool but I don't really have a strong grasp on what utility they provide beyond signaling alignment to whatever the parent ENS is

there are lots of cool things we can do with basenames. best way to think about it is as the seed of an "account" for using base and onchain - will start out serving builder needs :)
