One thing I've learned, and somewhat ironically am paraphrasing other tweets I've seen about this - but the TL is mostly reactive not proactive. Sentiment indicates what has already happened, not what will happen.

You kind of know this in theory already but its hard to execute on it

it's sometimes proactive depending on who you follow but that's a hard curation challenge

Individuals can be proactive often, I think the broader TL converges to reactive though. Unless you're like super intentional about consumption and only read notifs or lists or something.
