eaten before/during/after exercise, harmless, as it replenishes muscle glycogen stores (ideally use dextrose) any other time it turns your body’s fat storage mode on and increases inflammation. it also causes your energy levels to be wonky and makes you hungrier. avoid/minimize!

yeah but it has a suboptimal type of sugar in it…still probably completely fine i use dextrose to make my own shakes or sports drinks

It’s fine, but better to drink before/during. If consumed after, I’d say just don’t over indulge and convince yourself you’re “replenishing” that’s just marketing really
