"Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" is an anime based on the manga of the same name by Hiromu Arakawa. The story tells about the brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric, who, in an effort to bring their dead mother back to life, violate the main law of alchemy — the law of equivalent exchange. As a result of an unsuccessful experiment, Edward loses an arm and a leg, and Alphonse loses his entire body, his soul is encased in armor.
