wish there was an easy way to highlight & save notes from physical books into my digital archives

I schedule time to routinely transcribe my physical notes into digital form. I actually like the difficulty of it — in a sense I get to re-read the book, and there's an extra layer of decision-making. Not everything I first noted is worth transferring over, and new ideas bubble up.
