Notre-Dame Cathedral (Notre-Dame de Paris) is one of the most famous Gothic churches in the world, located on an island in the Seine River, in the heart of Paris, France. Its construction began in 1163 and was completed in 1345. The cathedral is renowned for its stunning architecture, beautiful stained glass windows, and religious sculptures. Throughout history, it has witnessed significant events, such as the coronation of Napoleon. In April 2019, part of it was damaged by a fire, but restoration efforts are still ongoing.
