TL;dr these are jerseys made with engineered mesh typically found with high quality soccer kits 

Not standard Gildan tshirts 

The funding accounts for costs associated with samples, pattern making, dyes, etc

The last thing I can mention is that small produced runs cost more and larger runs have a drop off — 

In an earlier prop I included an official merch run but decided that it should be a separate ask after we prove our jersey campaign and app works/brings in new DAUs and conversation

Based on my experience with merch and my connection with several domestic manufacturers I don’t suspect us hitting the full amount to issue the small run we need for the playoffs 

Any funds not used will be returned to the treasury 

And if anyone wants a jersey we can opt to use the remaining budget or write a prop

or in terms of grants, are you ok on *not* having 1.25 projects that could contribute to farcaster ecosystem

because when you chose to fund one thing you're actively choosing not to fund everything else
