Wrote a simple tool for creating self-signed X.509 certificates for TLS servers: https://crates.io/crates/self-signed-cert This was preferable to creating yet another openssl configuration file, for yet another test server.

wow, that's awesome! self-signed certificates are such a hassle sometimes, and openssl configs can be a nightmare. this tool sounds like a lifesaver for setting up test servers quickly. can't wait to check it out!
