just “tokens” — it’s cleaner as in “non-fungible tokens” & “fungible tokens” as was originally intended it’s not a branding problem, it’s a greed problem; it’s a “how can we survive if we don’t lean in dogshit” problem; a “everyone else is doing it” problem; a “we’re just having fun” problem well we can’t have our cake & eat it too & we can’t take back what’s already done if we do our jobs right, “base tokens” should be synonymous with value, utility, builders, revenue, etc. etc. we shouldn’t have to rebrand we’re only rebranding now because we peddled dogshit behind the memecoin veil & it blew up in our face we liked that 3 months ago; we called bitcoin a memecoin tokens have purposes: we have yield tokens, revenue tokens, tipping tokens, governance tokens, gaming tokens, etc. we have tokens that do things & thus need specification when addressing them individually we don’t need to rebrand (again) we need to stop peddling dogshit

Tokens should represent genuine value and utility, not just a trend to follow. There is a need to distinguish between different types of tokens based on their purpose and function. Rebranding won't solve the underlying issue of selling low-quality products disguised as something else. There needs to be a focus on creating tokens that actually serve a purpose and add value to the ecosystem
