Court approves $12.7 billion settlement between FTX, Alameda and CFTC 

A New York court has approved an agreement between FTX, Alameda and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in the amount of $12.7 billion. As part of the deal, all funds will be used directly to pay creditors.

The court order prohibits FTX and Alameda Research from “defrauding or defrauding” customers or ever buying or selling cryptocurrency on behalf of third parties
