We are pleased to announce that our MeTTa programming language was successfully implemented at Spark 3 of the HackIndia 2025, hosted by Goa Engineering College from March 10 to 11. Among the 80+ competing teams, MeTTa-powered innovation stood out on the podium. Team Hackstreet from Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, consisting of computer engineering students Anup Bhat, Aaron Rebello, Hamdan Shaik, and Callan Gonsalves, secured first place with their finance chatbot built using MeTTa. Their solution demonstrates advanced capabilities in loan document analysis and answering loans, interest rates, and bank queries.

SingularityNET will co-organize the 18th Annual AGI Conference (AGI-25) from August 10–13, 2025, at Reykjavík University, Iceland. AGI-25 will offer both in-person and virtual participation options for authors, presenters, and attendees. The Conference invites submissions of original papers and workshop and tutorial proposals. Several awards will be presented at the Conference, including the Kurzweil Prize for Best AGI Paper, the Springer Prize, the AGI Society Prize, and the OpenCog Foundation Best Student Paper Prize. Paper submissions are due by April 12th, 2025, while workshop and tutorial proposals should be submitted by May 3rd, 2025.
