I read only frames will be replaced, mini apps too?

Things will get merged, frames will be used for visualisation which can be shared in the feed or DC with a single button to launch a mini-app, similar like in telegram.

Mini-apps will be launched through cast actions, composer actions as well.

Hence yes and no!
