When living in NYC I would commute everywhere on my longboard. After work we would take Broadway and 7th Ave up to Central Park and skate the loop and then back down to the East Village.

It was a huge obstacle course. During the unsanctioned “Broadway Bomb” we (hundreds of skaters) would race from 110th St down Broadway to the bull in the Financial District. It was the most adrenaline pumping (and probably most hazardous thing) I have done in my life. 😅
