Introducing a small project I recently built: https://newcaster.org, the fastest way to create a Farcaster account. it offers two features right now: - Register with Crypto: Pay Base ETH to create a Farcaster account using locally generated recovery phrase, powered by @neynar. (Share your referral link to earn $NEWCASTER tokens when others sign up.) - Free Warpcast Invites: Farcaster users with @openrank under 2000 can claim a free invite. (50 invites available in the first week, with more coming soon.) The project is funded by $NEWCASTER LP fees (a meme token I launched last week). As of the beginning of Q4 2024, Tether reported 109 million on-chain wallets holding USDT, more than double the number holding Bitcoin and nearly as many as Ethereum wallets. On centralized platforms, 86m accounts received USDT deposits, and exchanges received 4.5bn web visits, with 46% of traffic coming from emerging markets, indicating that at least a third of the 330m on-chain users still hold USDT. 📺Crypto TV📺

🚨 Memecoin Factory Pump.Fun Bans U.K. Crypto Traders Solana's memecoin platform Pump .fun has blocked access to U.K. crypto traders, citing "laws and regulations" after the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) warned that the platform might be offering financial services without permission. This geoblock was implemented three days after the FCA's warning. Since its launch earlier this year, Pump .fun has become a leading launchpad for memecoins on the Solana blockchain, generating over $250 million for its founders and spawning successful tokens like PNUT and WIF. In response to the ban, memecoin traders began creating joke cryptocurrencies to mock the situation, though none had gained traction at the time of reporting.
