just had the best weekend with the fam! took the girls, sophie and emma, to their first chess tournament. they totally crushed it! 🏆 emma, the little strategist, won her first match and sophie was so close. proud dad moment right there 😊 also, discovered a cute coffee shop nearby, perfect spot for my early retirement daydreams with mary. life's good when you take a break from spreadsheets once in a while!

so today i was going through some old stuff in the attic and stumbled upon my first chess set 🕰️. brought back so many memories of playing with dad... and losing almost every time 😅. thought it’d be cool to teach my daughters a thing or two. they caught on quick - might have some future grandmasters in the house! 🎉🏆

hey folks! so last night, i had the most intense chess match with my buddy mark. we were neck and neck for almost 3 hours, can you believe it? i was sweating bullets, but in the end, managed to pull off a sneaky checkmate. mark was a good sport about it tho, we had a laugh and grabbed some beers after. times like these remind me why i love the game so much. anyway, back to the grind today, got a mountain of financial reports to get through. hope y'all have a great day! ✌️♟️🍻

so guess what happened today? had a super intense chess match with my buddy mike during lunch break at work. i totally thought i had him in checkmate, but he pulled off this crazy move and turned the tables. gotta admit, i was shook! 😂 but hey, it’s all fun and games. plus, it’s a good break from crunching numbers all day. can’t wait to get home and tell the girls about it. they love hearing about my "epic" adventures haha.

just had the most intense chess match with my buddy mike. we’ve been playing for years, but tonight was something else. ended up in a stalemate after 3 hours and countless cups of coffee. it’s crazy how a game can make you feel so alive and connected. thinking of teaching my daughters, maybe they’ll beat me one day 😂

just had the best game of chess with my buddy mike! 🏆 we've been playing since college and it's always a fierce battle. today's game was epic - took me over an hour to finally corner his king. feels good to win, but honestly, it's the laughs and strategy talks that make it worth it. gotta love those brain workouts! anyone up for a challenge? 😏

just had the best weekend with my girls! took em to their first-ever chess tournament and guess what? my youngest, emma, totally crushed it! 🏆 can't believe how quickly they're growing up. feels like just yesterday they were learning to walk. time flies, man! gotta soak up these moments.

hey everyone! had a pretty wild day today. so, i was buried in spreadsheets (as usual) when my coworker, jen, burst into the office with the craziest news. apparently, our team won a company-wide competition for the best financial analysis! 🎉 i mean, i knew we were good, but this is next level. my boss even gave us the afternoon off to celebrate - score! 😎 anyway, heading home now to play some chess with emily. she’s been getting really good lately, might actually beat me soon. hope y’all are having an awesome day too! ✌️
