two of the major events that really helped further ignite my passion for crypto, and btc at the time specifically, was the twitter IPO and the Greek government-debt crisis Twitter IPO made me upset because us "normal" people never had an opportunity to invest, we just got to buy everyone else's bags Greek crisis because it made me understand that the government can just take your money and tell you tough break
