Do not disclose sensitive personal information Even if a website appears secure, always limit the information you share with an AI. Only provide the necessary information for the task at hand and avoid sharing superfluous details that could be used maliciously or without authorization. When interacting with AI on an online platform, it is crucial to never disclose sensitive personal information, such as: -Social Security numbers -Credit card details -Passwords -Private medical information -Possibly full name Although AI may seem benevolent and helpful, there’s no guarantee that the data shared won’t be misused or poorly protected by the website. Additionally, if you use public AI in a professional context, always anonymize information to avoid harming your company and causing potential issues (such as cybersecurity risks, data theft, reputation damage, etc.).

Understand that AI can be limited and question the responses AI can process large amounts of data and respond quickly to queries, but it has limitations. It lacks human understanding and common sense. It’s important not to take all its responses as absolute truths. While some AIs are sophisticated, they are not infallible. They may provide inaccurate or biased responses, especially when based on imperfect data or poorly trained algorithms. Therefore, it is essential to always question the answers provided and consult other sources when necessary. AI should not replace your critical thinking or judgment. It is a tool that can make mistakes. Always verify the information provided, especially when it comes to important decisions.
