@talent has distributed 60K $TALENT to real Builders. Now we’re putting them on display:

Helping builders get the recognition they deserve.

Over the last 3 weeks we’ve been experimenting with Builder Grants, a new means of scoring and rewarding developer activity.

We’ve been met with sybil attacks and several attempts of gaming the system. Although it certainly isn’t flawless, the platform seems to be handling these nicely.

(For example, I can personally attest to the #2 Builder @rubendinis 😅)

Here’s some metrics this week:

• 9,000 eligible Builders
• 542 received rewards
• Max reward: 161 $TALENT
• Average reward: 36 $TALENT
• Average Builder Score: 71 

Overall, even though there were 4k less eligible Builders this week, we saw a growth of 200+ receiving rewards.

More impressive than that is the fact both the max and average reward amounts both increased significantly.

The last step of distributing rewards is to give visibility to the winners. This week we launched builderscore.xyz as a @farcaster frame.

We will be iterating fast, bringing new features and improving transparency of what Builders are building and why they’re earning.
