They expect the same quality, so it’s not really a filter of knowledge/talent but rather a filter for “stamina”. It also helps to judge company culture. In 90% of cases, we, developers,will be doing some API conn, or CRUD. Only a handful of people will to work on cool stuff. That's the core of frustration.😢

Yeah it helps to judge company culture. I've been on both sides, and imho the biggest problem is that it doesn't give you any information. Same thing's my issue with Google style stupid riddles. Just give me a person's GitHub and we will spend 1 hr talking about a codebase and I will know what type of dev they are.
