Recs for a linux laptop that aren't absurdly expensive? I was looking at system76 since I enjoyed pop_os when I had it on my PC, but cheapest one is $1,199?!?

Would you be opposed to getting a windows laptop and installing linux yourself? You could get way cheaper options with good specs, and linux does a way better job of utilizing the hardware than windows does, so you could turn any windows laptop into a linux one. Linux pre-installed laptops aren't very popular so they'll always be pricier than needed
