I would leave the house, and there would be kids sitting in the entryway in the dark, half-whispering: "Chewy monster, come! Chewy monster, come! Chewy monster, come!". Immediately I remember how we as children called the gnome-sweet tooth, and someone from our circle secretly bit into a sugar cube instead of the gnome...))))
