Hi Siadude! Degen Names (degenname.lol) is not the same as degen.eth  names. Degen Names are on Degen Chain (L3) and have been around since the chain went live. Degen names have been integrated in to many Dapps on Degen Chain. Check out some here:

i had some names which were already taken...is there already some kind of a marketplace for .degen names?

perfect! oh and one last little question;
.degen names don't expire and there are no yearly renewing fees right?

Not yet. However, there were promises that an NFT marketplace would be on Degen soon. 🤞
