The comments under this video are actually really helpful.  Essentially the older population in South Korea doesn't vote for things that would help younger generations... and that's unlikely to stop.

The video doesn't cover immigration at all... which to me seems like the obvious solution.

I’m Korean, and honestly, this video sadly highlights the current issues our country is facing all too well…
It doesn’t make me angry, but it does make me feel a bit heartbroken about the reality.

I have three children, and raising them in today’s Korean society feels insanely difficult.
Maybe that’s part of why I want to work even harder on Warpcast and in crypto — to create a better future for them.

Korea has generally been a country where people emigrate from, rather than to. It's only in more recent years that we've started to see a slight increase in immigrants.

There's also this deep-rooted belief in Korea that we’re a “single-race” nation, which makes it harder for society to fully embrace the idea of a multicultural population. I think it’ll take quite a bit more time for people to accept that kind of diversity.

Honestly, I’ve also thought about immigrating.
Of course, living in another country doesn’t magically make life easier. But still, it makes me sad to think that my kids have to grow up in a country where aging is accelerating, suicide rates are high, and there’s so much pressure around education and having perfect credentials.

I posted it not specifically for the Korean people of Warpcast, but because I do think Korea is at the forefront of these issues that so many countries are facing.   Unrestricted capitalism eats itself and we're all going to struggle because of it.

I do wonder if countries like Korean will encourage immigration from other countries with much higher populations as a means of keeping their cities running and contributing tax dollars.   I assume Korea hasn't traditionally had high levels of immigration in the past.
