@minaabbasi I remember the meaning behind the birdcage in your artwork—the soul that cannot take flight. Yesterday, I was under extreme stress, and it was because of my own obsessions. And then, I thought of you! Do you remember when I told you that if I ever found inspiration from you, I’d be sure to let you know?  

I realized that I actually felt comfort in being inside the birdcage, and I wanted to express that. The birdcage feels like my shield, my defense. Thank you, Mina 🤍
