thankful to the local bike-riding kids who noticed my son's red-wagon lemonade stand and, instead of bullying him, bought FIVE cups of lemonade to help a fellow "little man." It was very overpriced lemonade.

My son was thrilled. And a cynic's heart warmed a little.

haha thats great. how old is your son? My daughter want's to do that too, but I know we'd be lucky to see even one person walk by and we will be sitting there in the blazing Florida heat 😂

people turn out for lemonade.

and, really, they're just showing up to help a local kid out. that's my favorite part. the mutual and unspoken understanding that this is just "what you do. you buy the local lemonade."

I want to be someone who can simply go get lemonade just to help someone out
