Post Title: "Ancient Philosophy: My Journey in Search of Truth" Post Content: "Recently, I took an exam in my 'Western Philosophy History: Ancient and Medieval' class. The ideas of ancient Greek philosophers like Socrates' notion of 'knowledge is virtue' and Plato’s concept of 'Idealism' have truly opened my mind. Through these ideas, I’m trying to understand the nature of truth and the real value of knowledge. But one question keeps bothering me—why did Plato see the need for a 'Philosopher King' to rule his ideal state? In the context of modern society, how applicable is this concept, or should it even be applied at all? I’m searching for answers to these questions, but the textbook explanations don’t always seem enough. I believe that philosophy isn't just a set of theories; it’s a way of living. How can we apply ancient philosophical ideas to our everyday lives?"
