ohhhhhhhh ok, so they're all dahlias but not the same single flower changing colors. we have a place nearby that primarily grows dahlias and they are beautiful. i grow every year but they didn't do so great this year.

No, definitely not the same! All though Break Out does vary a lot! Really depends on the weather. With barely any sun, the flowers are more pink and look, imo, very different when they do have a lot of sun because then they'll be way more yellow. Fun to see! Ah no because of the weather? Or slugs? 🥺
