Gm 🍓 a lesson in going with natures flow. Last year, we dug up and moved all of our strawberries out of this bed and planted 13 new blueberries and two new grapes here. The strawberries had a different plan and came back this spring bigger than ever. Now we have two strawberry beds, and the new blueberry bed is weed free thanks to the very determined strawberry ground cover.

Hahah yess. Raspberries are the same. I'm finally doing strawberries this year!!! Doing them in 20 gallon planter bags though bc im out of bed space. Will see how they work out. Eventually id love a huge bed of strawberries in a wire cage so the birds dont steal all my berries!!

That's a great idea! We net our berry areas, or our crop gets decimated. I count on my berries for the year, and I dont like sharing, lol We use painted red rocks around things like pineberries and goosberries before the actual berries ripen. The birds think their berries, and after a few checks, they will leave the area alone. I wanna see how your berry bags do. I may do some of those next year
