oh yeah he's not flawless by any means bets are bets and nothing is guaranteed but he has a good track record and that means a lot, there are extremely few people in this industry that have built something out of nothing

I don't disagree with any of this, but he seems like he's out of ideas and this staking thing seems like a hail mary for him to stop being responsible for an algo that always needs updating to combat farmers. And, personally, I hate the current plan. A complete elimination of the social rank aspect is a total 180 and a smack in the face for everyone who has been clawing their way up from the bottom organically. One day that's all fuckin meaningless and it's 100% pay to play and the dude who never sent a cast has an allo 10x yours. Seems to go against everything it kinda stood for.

I think you're missing the power of Degen. First, we created tip allowances, which was a meta game-changer. Second, we have a strong community at our core, and that’s what we’ve been building on. It's hard to say a project with 750k wallets has run out of ideas or even needs new ones when the core concepts are working so well.
