Tried a new recipe tonight for Coconut and Butter Chicken and it was fkin delicious. Some coconut rice to soak up the sauce.š Don't worry @downshift.eth we sauteed the onions first. AND toasted the spices!

also, any suggestions for improvement? i know its not exactly the same as chicken tikka masala but also not that different.

recipe looks super super solid! if the tomato paste isn't bringing enough acidity, i would finish with lemon/lime juice or acid of choice when serving (i'd test a small portion to make sure it doesn't break the sauce) aside from that, only process improvement would be to roast the marinated chicken in the oven on kebab skewers to get a bit of browning/char on them you suspend them like this (makes sure to soak the skewers in water first so they don't burn) and then they cook on all sides evenly. i use a roasting pan for this, but whatever is the right width for the skewers is fine chicken then goes into the sauce just a few minutes before serving so it doesn't get rubbery
