this may not be the most popular opinion right now in light of the plan for next $degen season, but man I hate staking in general i just don't know what problem it solves other than artificially locking up supply temporarily my father hated staking my grandfather hated staking i come from a long line of people who hate staking

Thank you. I feel like the angry old man shouting at the cloud. But that's kinda my fault for expressing it poorly. All staking does is delay the inevitable. Eventually they unlock. And several times a year you need to deal with the "big unlock coming" drama. It's a band-aid. And it'll scare new participants away, rightfully so.

You’re describing the core mechanic of this token but it’s not from staking. 70% of the supply is airdropped. That’s the sell pressure. Staking gives a reason to not sell and you can’t continue to farm without staking. Degen has meme tokenomics which need to be counteracted or it’s just going to bleed out.

Staking isn't a reason to hold imo, it's a requirement to delay your selling. People already needed to hold the token for an allowance. And this could scare new participants from joining. In 90 days we will likely be right back where we were yesterday with tokens unlocking regularly. Just kicking the can. Just an opinion. We will see with time. 🤷🏻♂️

I can see your point but I also see this as a pivot for Jacek. When a dev does something to bring buy pressure for their coin this can also be seen as bullish and allows Jacek to continue to build in the next 3 months. With Proxy looking at liquid staking I think we could see things being a lot different in 3 months. I have a hopelessly positive mindset though. It has made me do many round trips lol.
