️⃣ Flipping is happening - Art on Rodeo gets indeed flipped multiple times for 5x - 10x. If you’re a fan of an artist and don’t buy daily, you’ll likely never get their past work at the original price. For low mints, I now would need to pay 100x to get it.

️⃣ For small artists, this can be a blessing - If an artist only mints a few pieces, early buyers can establish a strong floor. The OG Rodeo account has a 1,000x bid on the first piece that has been sitting there for weeks now—no flipping, just them hodling.

️⃣ Rodeo, to me, isn’t a fine art platform replacement - it’s a network amplifier. The last 3 pieces I picked up? All from artists I met there. The resulting convos have been meaningful exchanges with collectors or artists I wouldn’t have met otherwise.

️⃣ I’ve noticed the best results (within reason) come from those established artists who create a cohesive mini-collection there—like @elazutina or @mrLakon or @HoizonArt. Their work feels like an extension of their portfolio rather than a side project.

️⃣ Anyway, just my humble two cents on this. I think Rodeo is worth exploring, even if just as a experimental platform for a new kind of emerging art-consumption-thing. Time to collect all the things and amplify cool art in 2025 🖼️
