Seeing picks like this, and of mountains etc it’s so hard to imagine earth being smoother than a cue ball. Have you seen that interview with Neil deGrasse Tyson and Joe Rogan?

I can see why it sounds pretty wild but if you think in terms of total surface area vs the peaks and troughs. The ocean brings that average way down and that's why it's considered smoother than a cue ball. There's another statement that if you could touch the earth with a finger, it's sensitive enough to feel your average house.
