are you able to prove anything non-trivial on a pi? a simple recursive proof causes sp1 memory usage to blow up in my experience.

The whole zkVM space has been very obsessed with speed and scaling ETH. Folding scheme (Nova) which the NovaNet zkVM is based on is focused on memory efficiency. Local proving is the only way to do private proving.

Interesting - I was under the impression that if you used nova, you paid a huge price in speed - this has a lot of nice properties - I'm going to try it out.
