What makes clojure better in your opinion than other lisps like scheme and Common Lisp?

hygienic macros in clojure have prevented some gotcha moments (there are academic solutions for this in common lisp - gensym)

I like all the little choices (which are trivial to port to other lisps but clojure got there first):

- threading macros
- the jvm integration delivered a repl for java (unique to it)

i've watched some talks from Rich Hickey and I felt he brought this incredible mental clarity to how he did things. clojure reflects a lot of this.
