Alright, looks like some traders are getting news of tariff pauses, insider deals, and penalties beforehand.
$SMH had $1.13 MILLION!! in the 175 puts, ask side, 14% OTM. THIS WAS THE TOP CHAIN, one floor trade swept.
$NVDA China news came out, down 7$, $SMH down 4%.
$NVDA had its net premiums drop to overwhelmingly negative in the final fifteen of market.
This reminds me of when $KODK secretly announced Covid work, and the members of the admin were charged with "insider" trading back in 2020 (I quote tweeted it to remind people how long I've been doing this work!)
I suspect the news is being leaked somewhere, and people are trading it heavily beforehand.
