The UK Court of Appeal has denied a Welsh man's request to excavate a landfill in search of a hard drive he believes contains Bitcoin worth $676 million, lost over a decade ago. The software engineer, who mined the Bitcoin in 2009, has been in a prolonged legal battle to retrieve the drive, which was allegedly discarded by his former partner in 2013.
