My daughter has been the worst this evening. I've tried to explain I'm really unwell (I've got shingles) and I just need some peace and quiet... She has seen this as an opportunity to be the spawn of satan himself... screaming at every little thing, refusing to sit at the table, brushing her teeth, going to bed, every single thing has been a battle... I'm broken 😭 but tomorrow is a new day, that's if I make it till tomorrow 😅

The nights are drawing in earlier, and we’re definitely feeling the shift at home. Less outdoor playtime means finding creative ways to keep everyone entertained indoors—without resorting to screens all the time (though let’s be honest, sometimes they save the day!). I’m also finding it hard to carve out any ‘me time.’ I leave for work in the dark and get home in the dark. Dinner, bedtime routine and then boom it's time for me to go to bed. How do you adjust your routines as the days get shorter?

I've had horrendous sinusitis for about 4 weeks now (ENT appointment pending) hubby did the laundry this weekend to lighten my load but he didn't check the pockets... there are stray tissue pieces over all my clothes 😭🤦🏼‍♀️😅

Technical question (not about parenting sorry) can anyone explain the benefits of maintaining a posting streak in a group? I'm currently on day 21 here... But I don't see the difference between the interaction here Vs other groups I post in, less regularly, as you can only run a streak on one group at a time... I just don't get it 🙈
