it's an L2, and it's been confirmed as a "fix" that depending on your personal alfafrens usage, the cost of your transactions is affected.
Same days some users where gifted gas savings.
So is not a matter of @base imo :)

I don’t think you completely understand what these gas savings were. we paid a bunch of gas to automate the removal of extra “pool connections” from all users which were increasing gas costs. nothing individualised at all. it’s mostly complete now, if you had a lot of subscriptions you also benefitted from
