If you mint on Base, you pay t fees on Base, not Zora, cause this nft is on Base. If it will be on Zora chain you pay Zora tx fee

To add to this! Yep, you will have a transaction on both networks when cross-chain minting. Using this feature is also a more expensive transaction because it involves the cost of bridging.
